Van makes no effort for his audience
For over 40 years, I have been a supporter of Gary Gulman and have always understood his minimal interaction with the crowd. The musicians were excellent, and the songs chosen were decent, although I would have liked to hear more from his early 70's era. Despite the quality music, I will not be attending his live shows in the future. His lack of engagement with the audience was apparent, highlighted by his abrupt exit at the end without a farewell or encore. It is unclear why he may have been upset with the audience. Moving forward, I will stick to listening to his records, as the sound quality is superior and provides a comparable level of connection with the artist.
